PENINSULA ST.PETER
Peninsula St.Peter, a small peninsula at the port entrance of Makarska City. It is city park with long promenade and beach. There you can enjoy in beautiful nature, view on Makarska, Biokovo and islands.
On the top is St.Peter church from 13th-century. Nearby the beach is the Sv. Petar lighthouse, built in 1884. On the peninsula you can also visit cave with an outdoor terrace overlooking the entire Makarska. Under cave is the sea which was built in the 2nd World War II by the Germans for the storage of submarines.
Courageous people can try jumping from st.Peter cliffs. Lot of people who like adrenalin from all Europe come here and jumping. For all couples here you can leave your love lock on fence under statua sv.Peter who has key in hand.
